आबाजी तुबाजी सानप प्रचलित नाव श्री संत भगवानबाबा (जन्म : २९ जुलै, इ.स. १८९६ सुपे सावरगाव घाट, पाटोदा, बीड मृत्यू : १८ जानेवारी, इ.स. १९६५ रुबी हॉल क्लिनिक, पुणे) हे महाराष्ट्रातील वारकरी संप्रदायातील संत आहेत.

भगवानबाबांनी महाराष्ट्राच्या ग्रामीण भागात कीर्तनाच्या माध्यमातून शैक्षणिक, सामाजिक, नैतिक व सांस्कृतिक प्रबोधन केले. भक्तिमार्ग, कर्ममार्ग व ज्ञानमार्ग यांचा त्रिवेणी समन्वय त्यांनी साधला होता. तो त्यांच्या कीर्तनातही दिसून येई. कीर्तनकार म्हणून त्यांना प्रचंड लोकप्रियता मिळाली होती. आपल्या कीर्तनांतून ते जातिभेद, धर्मभेद, अज्ञान, अंधश्रद्धा, अनिष्ट रुढी-परंपरा यांच्यावर प्रहार करीत. प्रबोधनकार्यासाठी त्यांनी मराठवाडा, विदर्भ,तेलंगना,आंध्रप्रदेश,कर्नाटकातील काही भाग व पश्‍चिम महाराष्ट्रासह उभा महाराष्ट्र पिंजून काढला. विठूनामाचा प्रचार करतानाच त्यांनी समता, बंधुता, एकता, मानवता यांसारख्या आधुनिक विचारांचा आयुष्यभर प्रचार केला. त्यामुळेच वारकरी धर्माला आधुनिक रूप देणारे संत म्हणून त्यांना ओळखले जाते.

भगवान बाबा आणखी काही विठ्ठलभक्तांना आपले गुरू मानत. बाबांचे हे गुरू असे

  • भगवानबाबा यांना आध्यात्मिक उपदेश देणारे गुरू – माणिकबाबा
  • भगवानबाबांचे अध्यात्मज्ञान देणारे गुरू – बंकटस्वामीमहाराज
  • भगवानबाबांचे पारमार्थिक गुरू – संत नामदेव
  • भगवानबाबांचे नाथ/पैठणकर फडाचे गुरू – संत एकनाथ

त्यांनी पारमार्थिक गुरू संत नामदेवबाबांना मानले होते व त्यांच्या दर्शनासाठी श्री सदगुरु मठ, मेहकरी येथे भगवानबाबा जात असत. संत नामदेवबाबांच्यावैकुंठवासानंतर त्यांच्या चाळिसाव्या हरिनाम सप्ताहाचे कीर्तन भगवानबाबांनीच केले होते. 

Abaji Tubaji Sanap common name Saint Bhagawanbaba was the great person who came to Saint Purana in the later period of Saint Tukaram Maharaj. It is believed that he dreamed of Tukaram Maharaj and after Tukaram Maharaj he did a great work to inspire Warkari Dharma. He was a Keertankar and an inspiration of Bhagwat Dharma. It is said about them that he sat on water and read Dnyaneshwari. At the age of 69 he finished his journey after completing Eehlok Yatra leaving behind everything.

Bhagwanbaba, through his Keertans created awareness in different areas viz; education, ethical, social, and cultural in the entire rural region of Maharashtra. He used to coordinate the triennial coordination of devotion, creed and knowledge which was observed in his Keertans. As a Keertankar he was so popular that people were proud to say that if there is Keertan, it has to be of Bhagwanbaba only.

He used to fight against casteism, discrimination, ignorance, superstitions, indecorous customs and traditions from his works. For the purpose of enlightenment he travelled Marathwada, Vidharbha, Western Maharashtra, Telangana, Andra Pradesh and parts of Karnataka. He not only promoted Lord Vitthala but also spread over modern ideas like equality, brotherhood, unity, and humanity throughout his life.

His celestial personality, thoughts and work had a great impact on the society of his time and are still very effective even today and that is the reason he is recognized as a modern spiritual saint of Warakari Dharma. A great community from Marathwada and Western Maharashtra respect, honour and admit him. He was an ideal social worker and social reformer working for the welfare of the people like respect to all religions, superstition reform, education, annual coconut week, Pandharpurwari and founded Bhagwangarh. Now-a-days Bhagwangarh has become one of the centers of Warakari Dharma movement.
