Studied and brought up at the boarding of St. Helena's School, Pune. Since her school days she had an inclination towards fashion. She kept taking part in the fashion events at her school and college. Not knowing that she would make it to the big league in this field. Her breakthrough was being the Beauty Director for Citadel Magazine's (Magna Publication) annual event for almost a decade, Mr & Ms Pune. Citadel Magazine is known for bringing out the best of the TV actors scene on screen. Since 2010 she has been the strong foundation of Miss India pageant and has been on the advisory board, she has also been associated as the Beauty Director and Talent partner with the Femina Miss India. The fashion files or the cover shoot or any exclusive shoots that appear in the preeminent beauty and lifestyle magazines like Femina, Hello and Urbane to name a few are all under her supervision and guidance. She has been the beauty director for these magazines for over two decades now. Mrs. Sanap has kept her foot tight at Fashion Direction as she heads the leading shows like Radio Mirchi Queen Bee a Times of India property, Clean and Clear Fresh Face TOI, which is now Oppo Fresh Face, Femina Miss Diva, Femina Officially Gorgeous, Femina Carnival to name a few, for the last 10 years. Chandrakala Sanap who was the Founder Director of the Pune Fashion Week, has also been a guiding source to many by providing them lectures at SOFT College Pune and being the Consulting Head at Institute of Design and Technology, Surat. We can proudly vouch for her as she is the only Indian to have participated in the world famous New York Fashion Week for two consecutive years. Amruta Fadnavis, Maharashtra's Chief Minister's wife, walked the ramp for Mrs Sanap who promoted and spread awareness globally for an initiative that Mrs Sanap deeply feels for, "Educate the Girl Child". Chandrakala Sanap has become a brand in every Fashion Show in India, be it Smile Foundation, Save the Girl Child, Orchid Breast Cancer. As a responsible citizen she never fails to do her bit for the society. She helps the underprivileged by teaching them makeup and hair so that they can become independent individuals and can make a difference to their families, surroundings and by large the humanity. After much thought Mrs Sanap decided on opening an institute where she can not only share her knowledge but also offer these young budding artists experience and placements. CHASA IDT her design institute caters to students looking out for Fashion Design, Interior Design, Model Grooming and Event Management courses. Their priority is to give placements to their students in top notch Fashion shows like Femina Miss India, Lakme Fashion Week, and a chance for every student to work with ace designers of our country. Mrs Sanap having a personal connect with these artful designers, CHASA IDT also witnesses mentoring and guest lectures by these prominent designers now and then at CHASA IDT Pune, exclusively. These being the few perks of many for being associated with the institute. Mrs Sanap gives her students an unmatched exposure in India as all students get to work for highly reckoned Fashion Magazines and Designers at the Fashion shoots for the Magazine covers and of course with celebrities! Her set goal is to give her students bag full of learning experiences so that they paint the world with their attainments.
